I can't download my audio files to my iPhone / iPad / Android. What's wrong? [TOP]
Our audio files can be used on ALL mobile devices like iPhones, iPads and Android phones, but you cannot download our audio files directly to your mobile device without using a file manager app. For example you can use the Dropbox app to download our audio files. If you do not have a Dropbox account you can use other apps like 'Documents' by Readdle to download your albums to your mobile device.
I have just downloaded my files, but I can't find them on my computer. Where are they? [TOP]
If you are using a PC, then your downloads will have been saved wherever you asked them to be saved. If you are using a Mac, then they are probably in your "Downloads" folder.
TIP: All computers have a "find" or "search" function. Try doing a file search on your computer for the name of the download that you are trying to locate. For example, if you downloaded our guided relaxation called "Progressive Muscle Relaxation", then try doing a search on your computer for the word "Progressive". Your computer will be able to track it down for you.
My download is a zip file. How do I unzip it?
In most cases this is very easy to do because nearly all computers come with unzipping software pre-installed and all you will need to do is double click on your zip file to reveal the mp3 files inside. Alternatively you can right-click on the zip file and select 'Extract All' on the pop-up menu. Once unzipped, you can drag and drop your mp3 files to any folder on your computer or into your favourite media player.
If your computer does not recognize zip files, then you may need to install an application to un-zip them. WinZip and WinRar are popular free programs for PC users. For Mac users, your zip file should unzip automatically, but if it does not then download and install Stuffit Expander - a free free program for Mac.
How can I transfer my audio files from my computer to my iPad/iPhone? [TOP]
Once you have downloaded your audio files (remembering to unzip them if they are zip files) then drag and drop them to iTunes. Then it's as simple as "syncing" your iTunes library on your computer with your iPad/iPhone.
How does the ordering and downloading process work? [TOP]
Step 1: Click on the "Add to Cart" button for any items you wish to purchase. For your convenience, you can check the contents of your shopping cart at any time by clicking on the "View Cart" icon near the top right of your screen.
Step 2: Click on the "Checkout With PayPal" button.
Step 3: Make a payment using either your credit card or your PayPal account.
Step 4: As soon as your payment is received a download email is sent to you.
This entire process only takes a minute or so.
The download email contains a link to your downloads (if you don't receive this email, please check your junk mail folder. Email programs like Outlook sometimes think this email is spam and accidentally delete it).
Open the email and click on your "View purchase online" download link. This will open your downloads page in your browser. You can now download and save your files.
Please note that your download links will expire after 12 months and they can be downloaded a maximum of 20 times. This is simply a security measure to prevent illegal file sharing. Should you ever need to regain access to your downloads - even years after you have purchased them, simply contact us and we will reactivate them for you, free of charge.
Should you ever have a problem with a download (a very rare event) please feel free to contact us for support. We will make sure that you receive everything you ordered.
I don't have a Paypal Account. Can I pay with a credit card or debit card instead? [TOP]
You sure can. Add the items you want to your cart, and then click on the button that says "Check out with Paypal". On the next screen, you will see an option to "Pay with a debit or credit card". Simply click on this link and you can use your card to pay.
Is my payment secure? [TOP]
Absolutely. We use PayPal to manage all financial transactions, so your purchasing information, your account details, and your personal information are all completely protected.
I'm trying to add an item to my shopping cart, but it's not working. [TOP]
It is likely that your internet security settings are interfering with the function of the shopping cart. You must have cookies enabled in your internet browser for the shopping cart to work. If you require additional assistance, please feel free to contact us for support.
Can I purchase CD's of your products?
At The Guided Meditation Site we only offer digital downloads. Digital downloads cost you less, and we are able to deliver them to you instantly, so there's no waiting for CD’s in the mail.
We also prefer digital downloads because they are better for the planet! Cars, trucks and planes are required to deliver CD’s, whereas digital downloads require just a tiny amount of electricity from your computer. It’s a small detail, but it makes us feel better about what we do!
Don’t forget, you can always burn your own CD’s once you have downloaded the music you require.
Do you guarantee your products? [TOP]
Absolutely. While we do not offer refunds on downloads just because you change your mind, if you believe your download is faulty in any way then we will replace it without hesitation.
Do your mp3 downloads work on both Apple and PC computers?
Yes, MP3 files will work on both Macintosh/Apple and PC computers. Both types of computers will need to have an MP3 player installed – such as iTunes, Winamp, or Microsoft’s Windows Media Player in order to play the music files.
Are the downloads zipped? Will I need unzipping software?
Some of our downloads are zipped. You will need an application to un-zip the file. In most cases this is very easy to do because nearly all computers have an application pre-installed to do this. If not, WinZip is a popular option for PC users. For Mac users the file will automatically un-zip.
Can I use your music to create my own guided meditation? [TOP]
No you cannot. Our music downloads are for personal use only and are protected by international copyright law. If you wish to purchase "copyright free music", then please visit our sister website, www.enlightenedaudio.com.
How often are you going to be emailing me if I subscribe? [TOP]
We usually send our subscribers 1 - 2 email updates per month. We will only contact you when we have something worthwhile to share with you, whether that be some interesting news, new free downloads, or a special discount on our meditation products.
