Recording Studio Equipment

A brief tour of some of the technology and instruments that Christopher Lloyd Clarke uses to compose ambient music and produce guided meditations.

I make use of a wide variety of equipment in order to create guided meditations. Instruments, microphones and computer recording equipment are all a part of the equation. For those of you who are particularly curious, the following is a summary of some of the studio equipment that I currently use.

If you have any questions about creating a guided meditation production, please feel free to contact me. I am available if you would like to engage my services as a composer/producer, and I am also available to answer any general questions that you might have about creating music or producing a guided meditation CD. If you need some help or advice, I'm always happy to lend a hand.

You may also like to hear some of my music here.

I'm often asked what my favourite instrument for ambient music production is...well here it is...Omnisphere by Spectrasonics.

This amazing synthesizer breaks completely new sonic ground by combining a wide variety of hybrid realtime synthesis techniques, an epic library of remarkable ‘Psychoacoustic’ sounds, and many innovative features that have never been seen before in any hardware or software synthesizer. While Omnisphere contains a huge array of ambient sounds, pads, textures and atmospheres, it also offers enough versatility to suit any type of music. With a core library of almost 50 gigabytes and thousands of presets to explore, I'm always finding something new to love about this synth!
